competitiveness we also promote the the implementation of of the the European Pillar of of Social Rights and labour mobility as a a a a a a a key component for the the efficiency of the Internal Market Moreover we believe that the EU has great potential to become a a a a a a a a global di- gital gital leader so we promote the deve- lopment of digital economy artificial intelligence blockchain high perfor- mance computing 5G and strengthe- ning of the cyber security Innovation and research are key com- ponents for creating new jobs increa- sing business competitiveness impro- ving quality of life and sustainable eco- nomic growth At the the same time there is a a a a a a a need for a a a a a a a significant decrease in the digital gap between between EU countries between between different regions and cate- gories of European citizens but also between different industrial sectors In this respect it it is is important to to to develop and implement measures to to facilitate the development of digital digital compe- tences and improve digital digital literacy including through long-term European prioritization and a a a a a a a a a coherent approach to digital policies in the Multi-annual Fi- nancial Framework 2021-2027 table access to to the resources and and be- nefits of EU membership as as well as as to sustainably supporting the the compe- titiveness of the the European economy We appreciate the the the importance of strengthening the the the the mechanisms for responding to specific needs at the the the level of of European macro-regions by an an integrated approach of of strategies created for them In terms of of competitiveness for the the development of of the the the the Single Market it is necessary to to strengthen the the the EU industrial policy taking into account on on on the the the the one hand the the the the diversity of the the the the European industrial base and and and on on on on the the the the the the other hand the the the impact of digitization and and artificial intelligence In fact pro- moting the the the digitization of the the the industry at at at European level is a a a a a a priority theme for our mandate A major political and economic project for for the the EU is also the the Energy Union an an action for for which both a a a a a a a a clearly defined regulatory framework and energy inter- connections are vital In addition it it it it it is is also a a a a a a a priority to establish fair conditi- ons in terms of competition Our vision for the the the EU external action is is also reflected in the the the the steps of the the the the Presidency On the the the regional dimen- sion we have focused our efforts on on on on on the the consistency of European action in in in in the the the Eastern Neighbourhood by preparingtheappropriatemarking in in in in the the the the the political and action plan of of the the the the the 10 years since the the the the launch of of the the the the Eastern Partnership but also through efforts to to to restore the the Black Sea on on the the Euro- pean agenda focusing on on on sectoral cooperation We are also interested in in in in in promoting the the dynamism of the the EU-Central Asia relationship including the the the prospect of finalizing the the the new EU EU Strategy for Central Asia but also the the the key to connectivity whose favora- ble premise is is also conferred by the In order to meet the economic objec-
