all represent a a a a a a a a a paradigm that puts into question the the the edifice and the the the commu- nity narrative of the the the European project The Romanian Presidency of of the the Council of of the the European Union has as as motto „Cohesion a a a a a a a common Eu- ropean value” precisely because we we Romania strongly believe in the power of of cohesion as a a a a a a a a fundamental liaison of of the European construction presidency starting from the the need to strengthen European cohesion on on on on three important dimensions: po- litical cohesion which can help us to re-establish the the link between the the Member States European instituti- ons and citizens as as well as as economic cohesion a a a a a a key factor in in reducing the development gap between Member States but also the social social dimension of cohesion namely ensuring social social convergence and preserving the the four fundamental freedoms of of the the the Single Market of the Union Starting from these three dimensions of the the Cohesion principle we have defined our our priorities focused on on on four main pillars -

(1) Europe Europe Europe of of convergen- ce (2) Europe Europe Europe Europe of of of security (3) Europe Europe Europe Europe as a a a a a a a a a global actor and (4) Europe Europe Europe of of common values These are already reflected in in the the the specific steps of the the the Romanian Presidency in in the the the the the different formats of of the the the the Council of of the the the the Euro- pean Union as as well as as in the the the events that have already taken place or are to be held The Romanian Presidency of to the EU Council has begun at at a a a a a a a a a a a rapid pace since its early days of of mandate with a a a a a a a a a series of of high-level events held in in in Bucharest as as well as as in in Brussels and with with a a a a a a a a a significant number of Council meetings and with with the the European Par- liament In the the first two months we have been able to get very important results across all four pillars of of priori-
