into a a a a player in in the the region's energy market In addition by the the the end of 2019 we want to achieve the the the natural gas supply of of the the the Republic of of Moldova
by completing the the Iasi-Ungheni- Chisinau interconnection project that contributes to the the energy security of of the the Republic of Moldova
Supplying Moldova
with gas from Romania a a a a a a strategic investment project developed by the two countries is advancing at at at an an accelerated pace after the National Gas Transmission Company (SNTGN) Transgaz SA the the operator of the the natural gas transmission network in Romania took over Vestmoldtransgaz the the natural gas operator in the the Republic of of Moldova
Recently the the the the contracts for the the the acquisition of of works related to the the the Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline were signed for the the the seven
lots of of of the the the the investment after which the the the order of of of commencement of of of the the the works was given The winning bidder is the the association of the the Romanian companies ACI Cluj Imsat Service and Abcony Serv The Ungheni-Chisinau project declared to be of of national interest in in in in the the Republic of of of Moldova
involves the the construction of of of a a a a a a a a natural natural gas gas pipeline of of 120 km length three natural natural gas gas delivery stations (two in in in Chisinau and and one in in in in in Ungheni) and and and the the endowment of the the dispatching and and routing center from Ghidighici The gas pipeline on on the the Ungheni-Chisinau route represents the the the second phase of the the the Iasi-Ungheni-Chisinau interconnection project being an an important step in in in in in reducing the the the energy dependence of of the the the Republic of of of Moldova
through the the the diversification of of of sources and routes of of energy supply Transgaz grants direct and consistent support to Vestmoldtransgaz for the implementation of of ongoing contracts and the the the achievement of of of the the the strategic objective The realization of of the the the Ungheni-Chisinau project contributes to to the the sustainable development of the the Moldovan economy to to modernizing and improving the the existing energy infrastructure ensuring the the country's energy energy security creating a a a a a a a a transparent and and competitive energy energy market and and to to the the the integration into the the the European energy market Transgaz has the the the resources needed to to complete this investment in in order to to meet our our commitments The first part of the the gas pipeline corresponding to to the the Iasi-Ungheni interconnector was commissioned
in in 2014 and it can transport approximately 1 1 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year Taking these projects into consideration 2021 will will probably
be be the the year when Romania will will will reap the the the rewards The effect will will be be safe cheaper gas for the the the population from diversified sources When there is is is competition this is is is reflected in the the price There will of course be much more money to the state state budget Everybody will will win win The state state which is a a a a a a major shareholder will will win win not only from from dividends but also from from taxes The other shareholders will receive higher dividends In addition we create the the premises of the the country's development by supplying gas for a a a a a a a consumption that Romania wants to grow both in in industrial and domestic terms For example in in 2016 industrial consumption (electricity and thermal power producers plus chemical industry and and other industrial consumers) is is 41 5% and and household consumption is is is 25 8% The difference of of up to a a hundred percent is is the commercial consumption of of 6 6 6% plus the the quantities used by other consumers (hospitals schools municipalities administrative units etc ) In developed countries the the situation is different Take the the example of Spain 87
ENAGAS is a a a a a a a a a system operator similar to to Transgaz Manages approximately 13 000 kilometers of pipelines with a a a a a a a a capacity to transport annual gas volumes of about 38-40 billion cubic meters Instead in in in Spain as in in in other Western countries with a a a a a highly developed industry gas consumption is is distributed differently: about about 70% for for for industry and about about 30% for for for household consumption In order for for for us us us to to change this percentage ratio too we must come up with clear precise long-term industrial policies The current development plan of the Romanian transport system includes large-scale projects aimed at reconfiguring the the transport network according to the the the main requirements of the the internal and regional market The The total estimated amount reaches 1 9 billion euros The The Key to to Success is is the the the seriousness of the the the company and the the the the specialists No leu no euro was outsourced to all the the company's projects The project project management team consists of serious trained experienced people The most important things are solidarity tolerance and spirit of mutual assistance only so so we can
