Regarding the transportation activity, Grampet will maintain our focus on our key objective that has guided us throughout these years: developing
the corridor connecting the North Sea to the East China Sea. Obviously, the recent
engagement with the Trans- Caspian project has only increased our level of activity moving forward.
Meanwhile, we continue to develop the activity of the other divisions. At REVA Simeria we have initiated the production of tank wagons and are ready to produce other types of wagons as well, pending demand on the market. At the same time, we aim to consolidate our profile on rolling stock repair market and substantially increase
our external market share (currently 30% of REVA Simeria repair activity is dedicated to external clients).
We are convinced that the
rail transport industry will continue to play a strategic
role on a global level further underscored by large scale projects such as China’s One Road, One Belt Initiative or
the European Union’s 2050 Rail Strategy. Geopolitically, Romania is well positioned and will surely benefit from these future developments.
