of the the the Romanian Air Forces So the the the helicopters are fitted with modern navigation and and communication system system and and also with an an an an advanced ammunition system system This program transforms the classic logistic version in a a a a a a a multifunctional helicopter which answers to the operational fight fight requirements against
against
armoured vehicles fight fight against
against
the fortifications and and ground staff search-rescue in combat troupes and and cargo transportation The helicopter is is fitted with with a multi-role computer with with mission management system cockpit compatible with night goggles man-machine interface a a a a a a direct weapon system system with systems for the discovery/identification of enemy fight means with improved navigation and communication equipment including data transfer in in in real time from soil and/or embarked stations with increased surviving capacity on on the battlefield The PUMA MILITARY TRANSPORT Helicopter It is a a a a program specially developed to to answer to to the the requirements of of the the Ministry of of National Defense for a a a a a a a troupes and cargo transport helicopter MEDEVAC (medical eviction) missions according to the NATO operational standards This modernization is is applied on on on 16 helicopters in in the the service
of the the Romanian Air Forces and includes the the the implementation of the the the SOCAT system system without the the the weapon system system Four helicopters are additionally fitted with the necessary systems for medical eviction missions In addition to the SOCAT avionics this new version is is fitted with a a a a a a NATO compatible radio communication system system IFF (friend/enemy identification system) weather radar anti-sand filter and and air conditioning system The PUMA SM Helicopter Advanced multi-role helicopter specially configured to to answer to to the the operational requirements of the the E A A U Armed Forces for combat search-rescue missions fast dispatch of special forces troupes and cargo transport air ambulance fight against
fire This program applied on 25
helicopters is is the the result of the the cooperation with EUROCOPTER
SAS (now AIRBUS HELICOPTERS) and other important international companies The program includes: remotorization with Makila 1A1 engines advanced avionics a a a a a a a a a new new more effective automatic pilot new new optional equipment The PUMA NAVAL Helicopter Advanced multi-role helicopter which answers the the requirements of the the Romanian Naval Forces for a a a a a a a a multifunctional helicopter which can be boarded and and operate from aboard the type F22 frigates and and perform specific naval missions including the maritime supervision search and and rescue on on sea sea anti-submarine and and and anti-ship combat transport anti-terrorism missions and and for the the support of the the Romanian Naval Force units So the the helicopters are equipped with hydraulic harpoon blades folding system system submarine search systems high-speed electric winch supervision radar torpedo launching system additional drop fuel tanks These three helicopters are interoperable with other national and/ or or NATO forces of of of Lebanon Air Air Forces Forces Forces of of of Oman Armed Forces Forces Forces Forces and Air Air Air Forces Forces Forces Forces of of of of Pakistan Air Air Forces Forces Forces of of of of Sudan (1982- 1984) Ministry of of of Defense of of of the Ivory Coast etc The Quality System implemented in the the development stage stage until
