In 20 years of activity, the company has undergone
several stages of development that have naturally generated internal changes and developments,
the acquisition of new skills and the undertaking
of new objectives so that the company can fully meet the requirements of an external environment undergoing constant changes. One such occasion was the commissioning of Unit 2 of the Nuclear Power Plant (NPP / CNE) of Cernavoda in 2007 and the full takeover of that unit, SNN (The National Company Nuclearelectrica) thus becoming the power producer that has a contribution of about 20% of the domestic energy needs. Another significant moment was the listing of SNN on the stock market in the year 2013, with a 10% share package in the share capital, thus becoming the first energy producer to be listed on the Stock Exchange after Transelectrica in 2006. The listing on the stock exchange and the implementation of the related corporate governance standards meant for SNN an alignment with the new requirements of the capital market, openness and transparency, planning of the activity according to clear objectives, undertaken
