Bio Ortoclinic, the first VERTEBROLOGY clinic focusing on the treatment of DISC HERNIA WITHOUT SURGERY
12 years, over 15,000 patients
In its over 12 years of activity in Romania, Bio Ortoclinic has become
the largest orthopaedics and vertebrology clinic in South-Eastern Europe and one of the most important in Europe, focusing on non- surgical treatments of all conditions related to the locomotor system – upper limbs, lower limbs, pelvis, and all kinds of back pain. The clinic has state-of-the- art equipment, specialised personnel and quality management at the highest standards.
All those who have passed the clinic’s threshold - over 15,000 patients so far - celebrities or ordinary people, with problems of the joints, upper and lower limbs, pelvis or with back pain, recognised the high standards in the results obtained, in the recommendations received and the attention shown by the medical staff and the clinic manager, Mihaela Proicea.
The clinic promotes excellence in the treatment of back pain
Mihaela Proicea graduated
law school and specialised in hospital management, and four years ago she undertook the
full ownership of the largest orthopaedics and vertebrology clinic in South-Eastern Europe and one of the most important in Europe, Bio Ortoclinic. She succeeded in implementing a very high quality management, which the patients can acknowledge through the fact that during each treatment session they receive the visit of the department head and of the clinic’s medical doctor, as well as special recommendations and attention, while the therapists help them treat illnesses and get rid of the pain.
In addition to the competent management of the clinic and of European projects, however, the business woman concerned is characterised by HUMANITY. She took part every year in campaigns to help children with severe autism, thalassemia or serious disabilities, she invested in the future of healthcare,
by challenging students of
the Medicine Universities throughout the country to carry out innovative work on treatments that could be used in the future to treat the spine and she got involved in the area of sports, often neglected in Romania, by providing assessments to players of certain sports clubs and treatments to Local Kombat fighters.
Moreover, in order to encourage culture and art, Mihaela Proicea has realised numerous events combining the two topics and she even organised, at the ground floor of one of the clinics, a permanent painting and photography exhibition.
