Established 23 years ago, the Eurolines Group, comprising 22 companies from Romania, Germany and the Republic
of Moldova, is the story of a successful business developed by a Romanian investor, Dragos Anastasiu.
Since its creation in 1995, Eurolines Romania has grown constantly, becoming a reference point in tourism and transport services in Romania. The group comprises
22 companies specialised in transport, tourism and IT.
Today, the Eurolines Group has the largest distribution network
in the Romanian tourism industry and is the largest group providing transport services of several types - including air transport, tourism (sales and production), IT and taxi services.
The most important moments in the history of Eurolines Romania:
1995 The first two travel agencies (Bucharest and Frankfurt), the first three coaches for regular trips to and from Germany;
1997 Accession to the most important international passenger transport organisation in Europe - Eurolines Organisation;
1999 Creation of the first Romanian coach leasing company – Eurobus Leasing;
2001 Establishment of Touring Rent Auto, a car rental company that became a franchise of Enterprise Rent A Car in 2014;
2004 Take-over of Nova Travel, the first Romanian travel
