CFR Griviţa SA has seen significant milestones in its technical and technological evolution, before it reached the current leading position among the companies providing maintenance services and passenger car repairs for domestic and international traffic.
The company performs various activities in the field of repairs of rolling stock, from the maintenance and repair
of wagons to their upgrading and reconstruction. The company’s portfolio includes activities for the restoration and modernisation of special wagons, bedrooms, bunks, restaurants, saloon coaches, vintage trains and wagons for the use of administration.
"In order to meet the demands of our main beneficiaries, over the last 4 years we have intensified the rehabilitation of old passenger wagons, with the view to upgrading them in accordance with the current requirements in terms of comfort and traffic safety.
The wagons have been equipped with air conditioning
systems, audio-video equipment, sound systems, ecological sanitary facilities, ergonomic furniture, automated devices and
timing capabilities for fiberglass reinforced polyester composites, electro pneumatic braking systems and alarm signal inhibition systems etc.
Our experts can provide technical support, the productive workshops
are able to implement various solutions, and our organizational flexibility and the existing facilities make us available to meet multiple customer requests.
We have the capability to perform adjustment, fitting and installation activities of varying degrees of complexity, to reconstruct and upgrade
a wide range of passenger wagons that were built in Romania or abroad, newer or older generations of wagons, regardless of whether they are unique or small series.

and subassemblies from renowned suppliers such
as SMC, Festo, Vossloh, Dowalwerke, Semco, IFE, Escha, Turck, Faiveley, SACME, Kovis, Bonatrans, Taraflex, Altro etc. ", say the company’s officials.
